Alkaston Tablet 10 is used for managing kidney stones, maintaining electrolyte balance and supporting optimal kidney function. It is formulated with Potassium Magnesium Citrate, which helps manage calcium oxalate and uric acid stone formation by balancing urinary pH and reducing crystallisation. Potassium citrate increases urinary citrate levels, inhibiting stone formation, while magnesium citrate helps manage calcium-oxalate crystal growth. Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) reduces oxalate production in the liver, further protecting from kidney stone recurrence.
