Aginal 5 Tablet is used to control high blood pressure and to prevent the chest pain of angina in adults, relaxing and widening the blood vessels to reduce the heart's workload and lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Uses of Aginal 5 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
• Angina: Helps prevent chest pain.
• Exercise Capacity: Helps improve the ability to exercise without triggering angina.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.

• The medicine can be taken with or without food as per your convenience.

• Take the medicine at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not stop taking the medicine even if you feel well. Always consult your doctor before making any changes to your medication routine.

Aginal-5 Tablet is taken orally.

Aginal-5 Tablet contains amlodipine (5 mg) which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Inhibition of Calcium Influx: Amlodipine inhibits the flow of calcium ions into the smooth muscles that line your blood vessels and heart. These ions play a significant role in muscle contraction, so by reducing their influx, amlodipine helps these muscles relax.
