Zomelis Sr 100 Tablet 15 is used for:

• Helping control blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
• Improves glycaemic control when diet and exercise alone are insufficient.
• Use as a standalone medication when metformin is not suitable or tolerated.
• Boosting the efficacy of other oral antidiabetic agents such as metformin, sulfonylurea, or thiazolidinedione.
• Enhancing insulin effectiveness when stable insulin dose fail to provide adequate glycaemic control.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Try to take your dose at the same time every day for best results.

Zomelis Sr 100 Tablet 15 contains vildagliptin (100 mg), which has the following effects on the body:

• Inhibition of Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4: Vildagliptin is a potent inhibitor of an enzyme called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) in your body. This enzyme normally breaks down certain hormones that help regulate blood sugar.
