Euvilda 100 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Blood sugar control when diet and exercise aren't enough

• Alternative therapy when metformin is not suitable

• Complementary treatment with other diabetes medicines

• Improving glycaemic control in diabetic patients

• Reduction of fasting blood glucose levels

• Management of post-meal blood sugar spikes

• Enhancing insulin production in diabetic patients

• Decreasing excessive glucagon release in diabetes

Follow these instructions while taking Euvilda 100 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Euvilda 100 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Euvilda 100 MG Tablet 10 contains vildagliptin (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• DPP-4 Enzyme Inhibition: Vildagliptin blocks an enzyme called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), which normally breaks down certain hormones in your body that help control blood sugar.

• Incretin Hormone Preservation: By blocking DPP-4, this medicine helps preserve natural hormones called incretins (GLP-1 and GIP) that are released from your intestines after eating food.

• Glucose-Dependent Insulin Release: The preserved incretin hormones stimulate your pancreas to release more insulin when your blood sugar is high, but not when it's normal, reducing the risk of low blood sugar.

• Glucagon Suppression: Vildagliptin helps reduce the amount of glucagon (a hormone that raises blood sugar) released from the pancreas, which decreases glucose production by the liver.

• Store Euvilda 100 MG Tablet 10 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Protect the tablets from moisture.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging until you need to take it.

• Store all medicines safely out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before use and never take medicines past their expiry date.

• Follow a low-carbohydrate diet with plenty of fibre-rich foods (such as vegetables, whole grains, and legumes) to help maintain stable blood glucose levels throughout the day.

• Engage in regular physical activity for at least 30 minutes daily, as exercise helps your body use insulin more efficiently and improves blood sugar control.
