Zofer MD 8 Tablet is a medicine used to prevent and manage feeling sick (nausea) and vomiting caused by medical treatments and stomach upset. It helps control uncomfortable symptoms, making recovery and medical therapies more manageable.
It contains ondansetron, a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. The mouth-dissolving tablet should be placed on the tongue to dissolve before swallowing, and can be taken with or without food as prescribed. Take it exactly as directed by your doctor before or after your treatment.
Sipping small amounts of water or clear fluids throughout the day can help prevent dehydration caused by vomiting. Eating light, bland meals and avoiding oily or spicy foods can also help settle your stomach during recovery.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have liver problems, severe constipation, or an irregular heart rhythm. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, as some can interact with it.
