Composition

Aceclofenac (100 Mg) + Paracetamol/acetaminophen (325 Mg)

Zerodol-P Tablet is used for short-term relief of pain and inflammation in musculoskeletal and dental conditions when a single pain reliever alone is not sufficient, such as joint pain, muscle strains and pain after dental work or surgery.

It contains aceclofenac, an anti-inflammatory painkiller (NSAID), and paracetamol, which relieves pain and lowers fever. Take it as prescribed, after food, to reduce stomach discomfort, and avoid taking other paracetamol-containing medicines alongside it.

Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can increase the risk of stomach irritation and liver strain, and do not combine it with other anti-inflammatory painkillers unless your doctor advises this.

Tell your doctor about any stomach, kidney, liver or heart conditions, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, before starting this medicine. Seek prompt medical advice if you notice severe stomach pain, dizziness or unusual bruising, and do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Zerodol-P Tablet is used for short-term relief of pain, swelling, and inflammation in joint and muscle conditions or following dental and surgical procedures, when a single pain reliever may not provide sufficient relief.

Uses of Zerodol-P Tablet are:

Joint Pain and Osteoarthritis: Helps relieve pain and swelling when combination treatment is appropriate.
Muscle and Back Pain: Helps ease short-term muscle, back, or soft-tissue pain associated with inflammation.
Dental and Post-Surgical Pain: Provides short-term relief from pain following dental procedures or surgery.

Take a Zerodol-P with one whole glass of water.
You can take the Zerodol-P with or without food.
Swallow the Zerodol-P as a whole; do not crush or chew it.
Take the Zerodol-P at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medication.

Zerodol-P Tablet is taken orally.

Zerodol-P Tablet may cause some side effects, which are usually mild and improve as your body adjusts to the medicine.

A few common side effects of Zerodol-P Tablet are:

Digestive: Nausea, vomiting, loose motions (diarrhoea), stomach upset, and reduced appetite. Taking the tablet with food may help reduce these symptoms.
Nervous System: Dizziness.

If side effects do not improve or become severe, speak to your doctor promptly. Do not stop taking the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Management Of Side Effects:

Most of the above-mentioned side effects resolve on discontinuation of the Zerodol P tablet. These are temporary and, in the majority of cases, do not require medical attention. If you experience nausea and diarrhoea, take this tablet with food. If you experience severe or persistent side effects from this tablet, consult your doctor.

Zerodol P Tablet 10 composition contains Aceclofenac (100 Mg) + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 Mg) as its active ingredients.

Aceclofenac (100 mg): It is an NSAID that inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. These chemical messengers are key to inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking the action of cyclooxygenases-2 enzyme, aceclofenac reduces the inflammation, pain, and fever associated with musculoskeletal disorders, joint pain, and injuries.
Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): It is an analgesic and antipyretic agent. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the brain to reduce fever and pain.

Pregnancy

Is it safe to use Zerodol-P Tablet during pregnancy?

It should be used cautiously during pregnancy, particularly during the third trimester. It is advisable to consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant before taking this medication.

Breastfeeding

Is it safe to consume Zerodol-P Tablet during breastfeeding?

Zerodol-P Tablet is not recommended in breastfeeding women. This tablet may pass into breast milk and adversely affect the nursing infant. It is recommended to consult your physician before using this medication if you are breastfeeding.

Alcohol

Corticosteroids such as prednisone. The concomitant use of this tablet with corticosteroids may increase the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding.
Anticoagulants such as warfarin. This tablet may enhance the effects of warfarin. The concomitant may increase the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding.
Quinolone antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin and levofloxacin. This tablet can increase the risk of convulsions associated with these medications.
Immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine and tacrolimus. The concomitant use may increase the risk of a decrease in bone marrow and blood cells.
Cholesterol-lowering medications such as cholestyramine. The absorption of this tablet may be reduced by cholestyramine.
Other NSAIDs. The concomitant therapy with aspirin or other NSAIDs may increase the frequency of adverse reactions, including the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Zerodol-P Tablet may interact with diseases, including:

Liver and kidney disease: The tablet can increase the effects on the liver and kidney. In individuals with liver disease, it should be used cautiously, and dosage adjustments may be necessary.
Peptic ulcers: This tablet may aggravate peptic ulcers.
Bleeding disorders: It can increase the risk of bleeding due to its anti-inflammatory properties.
Heart diseases: This tablet may further worsen the existing heart condition.

Daily Dose

The recommended dose of Zerodol-P Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may vary depending on individual factors, such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. Following the prescribed dosage and consulting your doctor before exceeding it is essential.

Over Dose
