It contains drospirenone and ethinylestradiol, two hormones belonging to the group of medicines called combined oral contraceptives. Take one tablet as prescribed at around the same time each day, following the pack instructions carefully for reliable protection against pregnancy.
Taking the tablet at a consistent time each day, using a reminder if needed, helps maintain its effectiveness. Your doctor may also advise using an additional barrier method of contraception during the first 7 days after starting the first pack or when restarting after certain missed tablets, if appropriate.
Before starting or while using this medicine, tell your doctor about any history of blood clots, migraine, high blood pressure, liver problems, or smoking, as these can affect its suitability. Contact your doctor if you experience severe leg pain, chest pain, or sudden vision changes.
