It contains finerenone (20 mg). Take it as prescribed, with or without food, at the same time each day. Continue taking it regularly as part of your long-term treatment plan even if you feel well.
Lifestyle interventions are integral to managing diabetic kidney disease. Maintain a balanced diet low in sodium, monitor carbohydrate intake, stay appropriately hydrated, and avoid salt substitutes containing potassium unless advised by your doctor.
Tell your doctor if you have severe liver problems, adrenal insufficiency, or high blood potassium levels before starting. Periodic monitoring of blood potassium levels and kidney function is required during treatment.
