Crisanta Tablet 21 is used to prevent pregnancy in women of reproductive age. It may also help manage moderate acne and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in women who wish to use oral contraception.
It contains drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol. It contains a combination of synthetic hormones that prevent ovulation and thicken cervical mucus to prevent pregnancy. Take the tablet with a drink of water at the same time every day, following the exact sequence on the blister pack, as prescribed by your doctor.
A balanced diet, staying well hydrated and avoiding smoking support your overall health while taking oral contraceptives, as smoking significantly increases the risk of serious cardiovascular complications such as blood clots.
Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, a history of blood clots, liver problems, or unexplained vaginal bleeding before starting. It must not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
