URONEX TABLET 10 is used to manage the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), an enlarged prostate gland that occurs in ageing men, helping ease urinary difficulties.
It belongs to a class of medicines called alpha-blockers, which relax the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. Take it as prescribed, at the same time each day, and continue even when you feel well, as symptoms can return if you stop.
Limiting fluids, caffeine and alcohol in the evening, and emptying your bladder fully when passing urine, can help ease urinary symptoms alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure, liver problems, or are due to have cataract surgery before starting. Report dizziness or fainting on standing, or any changes in ejaculation, promptly.
