Amodep AT Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and stable angina. It reduces the heart's workload and helps lower the long-term risk of heart attack, heart failure and stroke.
It contains amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that relaxes the blood vessels, and atenolol, a beta-blocker that slows the heart rate. Together they lower blood pressure and ease the heart's workload.
Take it exactly as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can cause a dangerous rise in heart rate or blood pressure.
Tell your doctor about any asthma, a slow heart rate or diabetes before use. Report a very slow pulse or marked breathlessness.
