Amodep At Tablet 15

Amodep AT Tablet is used for high blood pressure and angina.

Uses of Amodep AT Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Combines two medicines for better blood pressure control.
• Angina: Helps prevent and manage chest pain by easing the heart's workload.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

The Amodep AT Tablet is taken orally. 

• Amlodipine (5 mg): It is a calcium channel blocker. Inside our blood vessels, there are tiny gateways called calcium channels. These channels control the flow of calcium into the smooth muscle surrounding the blood vessels. Amlodipine blocks these calcium channels, preventing calcium from entering the cells. As a result, the smooth muscles relax, and the blood vessels widen, allowing blood to flow more easily and reducing blood pressure.
• Atenolol (50 mg): It is a beta-blocker. It works on the heart by binding to specific receptors called beta receptors. Atenolol blocks these beta receptors, reducing the effects of adrenaline and stress on the heart, which leads to a slower heart rate and decreased force of contraction. This helps in lowering blood pressure as well.

The storage instructions for Amodep AT Tablet are as follows:

• Amodep AT Tablet should be stored at room temperature, under 30°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the medicine away from children and pets
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date.
