Unwanted-21 Days Tablet is a combined hormonal contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy by stopping the release of an egg. It also helps regulate irregular menstrual cycles and manage symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
It contains two hormones, an oestrogen and a progestogen, which prevent ovulation and make it harder for a pregnancy to start.
Take one tablet at the same time each day for the 21-day course, followed by a 7-day tablet-free interval. Use an additional barrier method if a dose is missed or during the first cycle.
Avoid smoking, which raises the risk of blood clots, especially over 35. Tell your doctor about any history of blood clots, migraine with aura, liver disease or high blood pressure before use. Seek help for leg swelling or pain, chest pain, a severe headache or vision changes.
