Trapic Tablet 10

Trapic Tablet is used to manage heavy menstrual bleeding and abnormal uterine bleeding, and to reduce or prevent excessive bleeding during and after surgery, dental procedures and childbirth.

Uses of Trapic Tablet are:

• Heavy Menstrual Bleeding: Helps reduce excessive blood loss during periods and abnormal uterine bleeding.
• Postpartum Haemorrhage: Helps control bleeding after childbirth.
• Surgical and Dental Bleeding: Reduces or prevents bleeding during and after surgical or dental procedures, especially in people with bleeding disorders such as haemophilia.

Here's how you should take Trapic Tablet:

• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• Always take it at the same time every day to help you remember it.

• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration.

• Do not abruptly stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Trapic Tablet is taken orally.

Trapic Tablet contains tranexamic acid (500 mg), which acts on the body through the following mechanisms:

• Restricts Plasmin Formation: Tranexamic acid inhibits an enzyme called plasminogen activator, which is responsible for the formation of plasmin. Plasmin is a protein that dissolves blood clots.

• Prevents Blood Clot Breakdown: By restricting the formation of plasmin, tranexamic acid prevents the breakdown of blood clots. This action helps in reducing excessive bleeding.

• Store the Trapic Tablet in a cool, dry place at room temperature.

• Keep the medicine away from direct light and moisture.

• Ensure the Trapic Tablet is well out of reach of children.

• If you're taking Trapic Tablet to manage heavy menstrual bleeding, include iron-rich foods like spinach, lentils, and tofu in your diet to help replenish lost iron.

• Regular physical activity can help reduce menstrual pain. Try gentle exercises like yoga or walking for about 30 minutes daily when using Trapic Tablet for this condition.
