Torpanel 4 Tablet 10

Torpanel 4 Tablet is used for the management of partial-onset seizures (with or without secondary generalization) and for controlling primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures in individuals aged 12 years and above.

Follow these instructions while taking Torpanel 4 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's critical not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Torpanel 4 Tablet is taken orally.

Torpanel 4 Tablet contains Perampanel (4 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blocks AMPA Glutamate Receptor: Perampanel is a non-competitive antagonist of the AMPA receptors in your brain. These receptors play a crucial role in transmitting signals between neurons.

• Reduces Neuronal Excitation: By blocking the AMPA receptors, Perampanel effectively reduces the excitation of neurons. This helps stabilise the electrical activity in the brain, contributing to its effectiveness in managing seizures.

• Store your Torpanel 4 Tablet in its original packaging.

• Keep it at room temperature below 30°C.

• Protect from moisture and avoid exposure to direct light.
