Torleva Xr 750 Tablet 10 is used to manage partial-onset seizures.

Uses of Torleva Xr 750 Tablet 10 are:

• Partial-Onset Seizures: Helps control seizures that begin in one area of the brain and may spread.
• Generalised Tonic-Clonic Seizures: Helps control seizures that cause loss of consciousness and muscle contractions.
• Myoclonic Seizures: Helps control brief, jerky muscle movements.

• Swallow the tablet whole with enough water.
• Avoid breaking, chewing, or crushing the tablet, as it may affect its extended-release properties.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
• It's important to not stop this tablet abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Torleva Xr 750 Tablet 10 contains levetiracetam (750 mg), which works in the body as follows:

• Binding to SV2A: Levetiracetam binds to a specific site known as SV2A on a protein called synaptic vesicle protein 2A, which plays a role in neurotransmitter release.
• Suppressing abnormal electrical activity: By modulating this protein, levetiracetam helps suppress abnormal electrical activity in the brain that causes seizures.

• Store Torleva Xr 750 Tablet 10 at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the tablets out of the reach of children.
