Levera-750 Tablet is used to manage partial-onset seizures in adults and children aged one month and older with epilepsy, either alone or with other medicines.

Uses of Levera-750 Tablet are:

• Partial-onset Seizures: Helps control focal seizures in adults and children with epilepsy.
• Standalone Therapy: Can be used as a single medicine for managing seizures.
• Combination Therapy: Can be used alongside other antiepileptic medicines when needed.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet, as it might have a bitter taste.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

• This medicine can be taken with or without food, as per your doctor's advice.

Levera-750 Tablet is taken orally.

Levera-750 Tablet contains levetiracetam (750 mg) and its activity within the body is as follows:

• SV2A Binding: Levetiracetam binds to a specific site known as SV2A on synaptic vesicles in the brain. Synaptic vesicles are structures within nerve cells that store neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that help transmit signals in the brain.

• Neurotransmitter Release Modulation: By binding to SV2A, levetiracetam modulates the release of neurotransmitters. This means it helps regulate the amount and timing of these chemicals being released.

• Seizure Reduction: The modulation of neurotransmitter release by levetiracetam reduces the abnormal electrical activity in the brain that can lead to seizures. This makes it useful for managing epilepsy-related seizures and partial-onset seizures.
