Levera Xr 750 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing epilepsy: This medicine helps in controlling seizures that occur due to this neurological disorder.
• Controlling partial-onset seizures: These types of seizures begin in one area of the brain and then spread to other areas.
• Handling generalised tonic-clonic seizures: Also called grand mal seizures, these can cause a loss of consciousness and violent muscle contractions.
• Restricting myoclonic seizures: These are characterised by quick, jerky movements of a group of muscles.

• Swallow the tablet whole with enough water.
• Avoid breaking, chewing, or crushing the tablet, as it may affect its extended-release properties.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
• It's important to not stop this tablet abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Levera Xr 750 Tablet 10 contains levetiracetam (750 mg), which works in the body as follows:

• Binding to SV2A: Levetiracetam binds to a specific site known as SV2A on a protein called synaptic vesicle protein 2A, which plays a role in neurotransmitter release.
• Suppressing abnormal electrical activity: By modulating this protein, levetiracetam helps suppress abnormal electrical activity in the brain that causes seizures.

• Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the tablets out of the reach of children.
