Topirol 50 Tablet is used in adults and adolescents with epilepsy to control seizures, and in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older to prevent migraines.

Uses of Topirol 50 Tablet are:

• Seizure Control: Controls partial-onset and generalised tonic-clonic seizures, as well as seizures linked to Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.
• Migraine Prevention: Taken regularly to reduce the frequency and severity of migraine headaches.

To use Topirol 50 Tablet properly, follow these guidelines:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• Stick to the dose recommended by your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Topirol 50 Tablet is taken orally.

Topirol 50 Tablet contains topiramate (50mg), which works in the body as follows:

• Enhances GABA Activity: Topiramate enhances the activity of a neurotransmitter called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This neurotransmitter helps calm the brain and nerves, thereby reducing abnormal brain activity.
