CompositionTopirol 25 Tablet is used to control seizures in epilepsy and to help prevent migraine attacks. As a preventive medicine, it is taken every day to stop symptoms before they start.
It contains topiramate, an anti-epileptic. It works by steadying the electrical activity in the brain, which reduces seizures and migraine triggers.
Take it at the same time each day as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can trigger seizures. Drink enough fluids to reduce the risk of kidney stones.
Do not use it in pregnancy unless your doctor advises, as it can harm an unborn baby. Report eye pain or sudden blurred vision, which needs urgent review, and tell your doctor about mood changes, tingling or loss of appetite.
