CompositionTonact EZ 40 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol. It is a combination medicine containing a statin and a cholesterol absorption inhibitor.
It also helps balance the levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and good cholesterol (HDL) by lowering LDL and raising HDL. It is used when diet and lifestyle changes alone are not enough. Take it orally in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it for the duration prescribed.
Choose a diet low in saturated fat, with less ghee, butter and fried snacks and more vegetables, fruit and dal. Regular exercise, a healthy weight and quitting smoking also help.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver problems or unexplained muscle pain, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly. Ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
