Terabet GM Cream 10gm

Terabet-GM Cream is used to treat various skin conditions, particularly those involving inflammation, bacterial, or fungal infections. It manages ringworm infections like tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea pedis (athlete’s foot and jock itch), cutaneous candidiasis caused by yeast, and inflamed seborrheic dermatitis with redness and scaling. The cream is also effective for infected eczema or psoriasis, where skin inflammation occurs alongside bacterial or fungal infections.

Terabet-GM Cream contains three active ingredients:

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): This potent corticosteroid works by reducing the production of inflammatory chemicals in your body called prostaglandins. These chemicals can cause redness, swelling, and itching upon release; hence their reduction leads to alleviation of these symptoms.
• Neomycin (0.1%): This powerful antibiotic helps manage bacterial skin infections by inhibiting their growth. It does so by blocking the synthesis of essential proteins required for bacterial survival. Effective against various types of bacteria, neomycin contributes to the broad-spectrum action of Terabet-GM Cream.
• Miconazole (2%): As an antifungal agent from the imidazole class of medicines, miconazole disrupts the cell membranes of fungi. This action halts their growth and spread, thereby helping manage fungal skin infections like ringworm and athlete's foot.

• Store Terabet-GM Cream in a tightly sealed container.
• Keep it at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
• Protect the cream from exposure to excessive light and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• If you're managing a fungal skin infection like an athlete's foot, ensure your feet are kept clean and dry. Changing socks regularly can help prevent moisture build-up that encourages fungal growth.
• For bacterial skin infections, maintain personal hygiene by washing your hands frequently with soap, especially after touching the infected skin area, to avoid spreading the bacteria.
