Telsar AMH 40 Tablet is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) when treatment with a single medicine is not effective enough. It helps lower blood pressure and reduces the long-term risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.
It contains a combination of three active medicines, including a vessel-relaxing medicine and a diuretic (water tablet). Take it as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, at the same time each day for consistent control. Continue taking it regularly even when you feel well, as high blood pressure usually has no noticeable symptoms. Stopping suddenly may cause your blood pressure to rise again.
Healthy lifestyle habits support better blood pressure management. These include eating a low-salt diet, exercising regularly, keeping to a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol intake as advised by your doctor.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, diabetes, or gout, and list all other medicines you are taking. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Contact your doctor if you experience severe dizziness, fainting, swelling in the legs, or muscle cramps.
