Telmiride-MT 50 Tablet is used for the management of high blood pressure, also known as hypertension.

Here's how you should take Telmiride-MT 50 Tablet:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid breaking, chewing or crushing the tablet.
The medicine can be taken with or without food.
Do not alter the dosage without consulting your doctor.

Taking Telmiride-MT 50 Tablet might cause the following side effects:

Tiredness
Dizziness
Shortness of Breath
Bradycardia: This is a slower than normal heart rate, which could make you feel dizzy or lightheaded.

It works by blocking certain natural chemicals in your body that act on the heart and blood vessels, like epinephrine. By doing so, it slows down your heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions, which in turn decreases blood pressure.
Telmisartan (40 mg): This ingredient is part of a category of medicines known as angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). Telmisartan works by relaxing your blood vessels so that blood can pass through more easily. It does this by binding to a specific receptor in many tissues, blocking the effects of angiotensin II which normally constricts blood vessels and secretes aldosterone.

Pregnancy

Telmiride-MT 50 Tablet is contraindicated during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, ensure to discuss this with your doctor before starting this medicine.
