Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, low magnesium or potassium, diabetes, or gout. Your doctor may check kidney function and electrolyte levels (body salts, including magnesium) periodically. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
