Telmikind H Tablet is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults when a single medicine does not give enough control. It is a combination medicine containing telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic.
Good blood pressure control reduces the strain on the heart and blood vessels. Take it with or without food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue taking it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active as advised, maintaining a healthy weight, limiting alcohol and quitting smoking support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
This medicine is not suitable during pregnancy. Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, gout, diabetes or low magnesium levels, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report marked dizziness, muscle cramps or ankle swelling. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
