Uses of Tariflox D Eye Drops 10ml
Tariflox D Eye Drops 10ml are used in the following conditions:
- Bacterial infections in the eyes: These drops help treat and prevent bacterial infections in the eyes, such as conjunctivitis.
- Eye inflammation: These drops are also used post-cataract surgery to prevent and treat infection and inflammation.
Directions for Use of Tariflox D Eye Drops 10ml
- Tariflox D Eye Drops 10ml are meant for topical ophthalmic use only.
- Wash your hands before using the eye drops.
- Tilt your head backwards and gently pull down the lower eyelid until there is a small pocket.
- Turn the bottle upside down and gently squeeze it to release 1 or 2 drops into the eye. Let go of the lower lid and close your eyes for 30 seconds. Repeat the same for the other eye if it also needs treatment.
- If a drop misses your eye, try again.
- Do not touch the tip of the dropper to avoid contamination.
- If you use more than one eye drop, wait 5-10 minutes between their application and then use the eye ointments.
- If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the eye drops.

- Pharmacokinetic boosters, such as cobicistat, used to boost HIV medications. The concomitant use may increase the amount of these drops in the blood.
- Immunosuppressants such as cyclosporin. The concomitant use may affect the absorption and effectiveness of these drops.

- Viral diseases of conjunctiva and corena such as epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, vaccinia, varicella: The use of Tariflox D Eye Drops 10ml is contraindicated in these diseases as it may worsen the condition.
- Mycobacterial and fungal eye infections: The prolonged use of these drops may occasionally result in these infections and worsen the condition.
