CompositionOtodac Dx Ear Drops 5ml is used to treat susceptible bacterial infections of the outer ear canal with inflammation, such as bacterial otitis externa. It reduces infection, swelling, redness, itching, pain, and discomfort.
It contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, and dexamethasone, a corticosteroid. Benzalkonium chloride is included as a preservative. Ofloxacin treats susceptible bacteria, while dexamethasone reduces inflammation.
Instil only the number of drops prescribed by your doctor. Keep the head tilted for a few minutes and avoid touching the dropper tip to the ear or any surface.
Keep the ear dry and avoid cotton buds or other objects. Tell your doctor if you may have a perforated eardrum or a viral or fungal ear infection.
