Softdrops PM Eye Gel provides relief from dry eyes, soothes irritation, and helps manage nocturnal lagophthalmos, where the eyelids don’t fully close during sleep. It also aids in healing recurrent corneal erosions and acts as a lubricant and cushioning agent for eyes with reduced corneal sensitivity.

Follow these instructions while using Softdrops PM Eye Gel:

• Make sure your hands are clean before applying the gel

• Apply a ribbon of the gel in the lower part of your eye, known as the conjunctival sac, as advised by the doctor.

• Don't use this gel during daytime or while wearing contact lenses

• If you're using other eye drops, wait at least 15 minutes before applying this gel

• To prevent contamination, ensure that the tip of the tube doesn't touch your eye or any other surface. Always replace the cap after use.

• Any remaining gel on your eyelids or lashes can be gently wiped off after application.

Softdrops PM Eye Gel is applied topically.

The Softdrops PM Eye Gel formulation contains two active ingredients:

• Light Mineral Oil (1%): This less viscous oil spreads easily over the surface of your eyes, forming a protective layer that reduces tear evaporation and helps keep your eyes moist.

• White Mineral Oil (4.5%): This thicker oil also forms a moisturising layer on the eye surface, providing long-lasting lubrication and further assisting in managing dry eye symptoms.

  The combination of these two oils ensures that the gel spreads easily yet stays on your eye surface for a longer period. This protective barrier helps reduce water loss from the eye surface, adds to the lipid layer of your tear film, and keeps the ocular surface hydrated during sleep. The gel also potentially fills in any irregularities on a damaged ocular surface in dry eyes, leading to a smoother cornea and better optical quality of the eye.

• Store Softdrops PM Eye Gel in a cool, dry place, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight.

• Always close the tube tightly after use.

• Make sure the product is kept out of reach of children.

• If you have dry eyes, stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. This can help keep your body, including your eyes, moisturised.

• Try to reduce your screen time or take frequent breaks if you're working on a computer or using digital devices for long periods. Prolonged screen use can exacerbate eye dryness.
