CompositionSITELODIP 5 MG Tablet 10 is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) and to manage certain heart problems such as chronic stable angina and coronary artery disease in adults. It relaxes the blood vessels, improving blood flow and easing the strain on the heart.
It contains amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. Take the tablet exactly as prescribed, with or without food, and use it regularly for stable blood pressure control. Continue taking it even when you feel well, unless advised otherwise.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, before starting. Report persistent swelling of the ankles or feet, or worsening chest pain, to your doctor."
