It contains furosemide, a loop diuretic that removes excess water and salt, and spironolactone, a potassium-sparing diuretic that helps keep potassium levels balanced.
It ease swelling and breathlessness and reduce the pressure on the heart, and the combination is also used for fluid retention linked with a hormone condition called hyperaldosteronism. It is taken by mouth as prescribed.
