Do not stop or change your dose without speaking to your doctor first.
Along with insulin therapy, following a consistent meal schedule, monitoring your blood sugar regularly, staying physically active, and carrying a fast-acting sugar source such as glucose tablets or a sugary drink can help you manage day-to-day blood sugar swings safely.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, or if you are taking other medicines, including other diabetes treatments. Learn to recognise the signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia), such as sweating, shakiness, or confusion, and act on them quickly.
