It does this by blocking certain natural chemicals like epinephrine from acting on your heart and blood vessels, leading to a slower heart rate and reduced blood pressure.
Ramipril (2.5 mg): Belonging to a class of medications known as ACE inhibitors, ramipril works by relaxing and widening your blood vessels which improves blood flow and reduces blood pressure. It inhibits an enzyme responsible for converting angiotensin I into angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure.
