Cardace Meto 2.5 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

Metoprolol Succinate (23.75 mg): This ingredient is a beta-blocker that reduces the workload on your heart and lowers its need for oxygen. It does this by blocking certain natural chemicals like epinephrine from acting on your heart and blood vessels, leading to a slower heart rate and reduced blood pressure.
Ramipril (2.5 mg): Belonging to a class of medications known as ACE inhibitors, ramipril works by relaxing and widening your blood vessels which improves blood flow and reduces blood pressure. It inhibits an enzyme responsible for converting angiotensin I into angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels and increases blood pressure. By blocking this conversion, ramipril effectively lowers your blood pressure.

Pregnancy

Cardace Meto 2.5 Tablet is contraindicated during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, it's important to discuss this with your doctor before starting this medicine.

Breastfeeding
