Sitaglo 50 Tablet 15 is used for the following:

• Aiding in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Working as an adjunct to diet and exercise for improving glycaemic control

• Assisting in the prevention of serious diabetic complications such as kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, limb amputations, and sexual dysfunction due to uncontrolled diabetes

• Lowering the potential for heart attack and stroke associated with diabetes

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not break, chew, or crush the tablet.

• Aim to take your medicine at the same time each day.

Sitaglo 50 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Sitaglo 50 Tablet 15 contains sitagliptin (50 mg), which acts on the body in the following ways:

• DPP-4 inhibition: Sitagliptin works by blocking an enzyme in your body known as DPP-4, or dipeptidyl peptidase 4. This enzyme is normally responsible for breaking down certain hormones that help regulate insulin levels.
