SILODOSIA M 50 TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Management of lower urinary tract symptoms in men
• Relief of overactive bladder
• Improvement of urine flow in an enlarged prostate
• Reduction of urinary frequency in prostate conditions
• Management of urinary urgency with prostate enlargement
• Alleviation of difficulty starting urination
• Improvement of a weak urine stream in men
• Reduction of straining while urinating
• Management of incomplete bladder emptying

Follow these instructions while taking SILODOSIA M 50 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the medicines whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open the tablet or capsule.
• Try to take SILODOSIA M 50 TABLET 10 at the same time each day.
• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

SILODOSIA M 50 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

SILODOSIA M 50 TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to improve urinary symptoms:

• Mirabegron (50 mg): Acts as a beta-3 adrenergic agonist that relaxes the bladder muscles, increasing the storage capacity of the bladder and reducing symptoms like frequent urination and urgency.
• Silodosin (8 mg): Functions as an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker that specifically targets the prostate, bladder base, and urethra to relax these muscles, making urination easier and improving urine flow.

• Keep SILODOSIA M 50 TABLET 10 at room temperature below 25°C.
• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Keep the original packaging sealed until use.
• Store this medicine out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Limit caffeine intake: Reducing coffee, tea, and energy drinks can help decrease bladder irritation and urgency symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).
• Avoid drinking fluids before bedtime: Reducing fluid intake in the evening, especially 2-3 hours before sleeping, can help minimise night-time urination frequency.
