Silotime M 50 Tablet 10

Silotime-M 50 Tablet is used in adult men to relieve lower urinary tract symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia).

Uses of Silotime-M 50 Tablet are:

• Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Relieves urinary symptoms caused by prostate enlargement.
• Improved Urinary Flow: Eases hesitation, weak stream, and the sensation of incomplete bladder emptying.
• Urgency & Frequency Reduction: Reduces sudden urges to urinate and frequent night-time trips to the bathroom (nocturia).

Follow the instructions below when taking Silotime-M 50 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew or divide the tablet.
• Always follow the dosage recommended by your doctor.

Silotime-M 50 Tablet is taken orally.

Silotime-M 50 Tablet contains two active ingredients which function in sync:

• Mirabegron (50 mg): This ingredient is a beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist. Its function involves relaxing the bladder muscle which increases its capacity to hold urine. This reduction in bladder tension consequently lessens the frequency of urination.
• Silodosin (8 mg): As an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist, silodosin selectively blocks alpha-1A receptors located in the prostate, bladder base, and urethra. By doing so, it relaxes the smooth muscles, making it easier to urinate.

• Keep Silotime-M 50 Tablet at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
• Protect the medicine from light and moisture.
• Ensure the bottle is tightly closed after use.
• Store it in a place where children cannot reach.
• Check the expiry date on the label and use it before that.

• Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of fluids can help manage urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
• Limit caffeine and alcohol: These can increase urine production and exacerbate symptoms of BPH. Aim for moderation or avoid them altogether if possible.
