Rozustat F 5 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Lowering bad cholesterol levels in the blood

• Reducing high triglyceride levels

• Increasing good cholesterol levels

• Preventing fat buildup in arteries

• Managing mixed hyperlipidaemia

• Reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke

• Supporting comprehensive lipid management

• Addressing certain inherited cholesterol disorders

Follow these instructions while taking Rozustat F 5 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Try to take it at the same time each day.

• Continue taking the medicine regularly even if you feel well.

• Consult your doctor if you have questions about the proper way to take this medicine.

Rozustat F 5 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Rozustat F 5 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Rosuvastatin (5 mg): This belongs to a group of medicines called statins. It works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a key role in cholesterol production in your liver. It also increases the number of LDL receptors on liver cells, helping remove more bad cholesterol from your bloodstream.

• Fenofibrate (67 mg): This component activates an enzyme called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α), which is involved in fat metabolism. It increases the breakdown of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins and reduces the production of harmful cholesterol types in the liver.

• Store Rozustat F 5 Tablet 10 tablets at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging, protected from light and moisture.

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

• Do not use Rozustat F 5 Tablet 10 after the expiration date printed on the package.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol. Include more fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins to help manage your cholesterol levels alongside your medicine.
