Arvast F 5 Tablet 10 is used in adults to manage high cholesterol, high triglycerides and mixed hyperlipidaemia, helping to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, particularly in people with several risk factors.

Uses of Arvast F 5 Tablet 10 are:

• High Cholesterol and Triglycerides: Helps lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and triglycerides and raise HDL (“good”) cholesterol.
• Mixed Hyperlipidaemia: Helps manage raised levels of different blood fats.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Helps prevent fatty build-up in the arteries and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Follow these instructions while taking Arvast F 5 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Try to take it at the same time each day.

• Continue taking the medicine regularly even if you feel well.

Arvast F 5 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Rosuvastatin (5 mg): This belongs to a group of medicines called statins. It works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a key role in cholesterol production in your liver. It also increases the number of LDL receptors on liver cells, helping remove more bad cholesterol from your bloodstream.

• Fenofibrate (67 mg): This component activates an enzyme called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α), which is involved in fat metabolism. It increases the breakdown of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins and reduces the production of harmful cholesterol types in the liver.

• Store Arvast F 5 Tablet 10 tablets at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging, protected from light and moisture.

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

• Do not use Arvast F 5 Tablet 10 after the expiration date printed on the package.
