Crevast-F5 Tablet is used for the following conditions:

• Managing high levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, also known as bad cholesterol

• Controlling total cholesterol levels

• Decreasing high levels of triglycerides and apolipoprotein B

• Boosting levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, known as good cholesterol

• Management of primary hypercholesterolemia, which is a condition that causes very high cholesterol levels

• Control of mixed dyslipidemia, a condition involving abnormal levels of all types of fats in the blood

• Management of hypertriglyceridemia, a condition where there are high levels of certain fats in the blood

• Lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events in patients with multiple risk factors.

When taking Crevast-F5 Tablet, follow these instructions:

• The tablet should be swallowed whole with water. It's important not to chew or crush it.

• Try to take this medicine at the same time each day to help you remember.

• Never take more than your doctor has prescribed to you.

Crevast-F5 Tablet is taken orally.

Crevast-F5 Tablet consists of two active ingredients that help manage lipid disorders:

• Fenofibrate (67 mg): This ingredient acts by stimulating a protein called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α). PPAR-α boosts the breakdown and removal of triglycerides, a type of fat, from your blood. Additionally, fenofibrate lessens the production of a kind of cholesterol known as very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL).

• Rosuvastatin (5 mg): Rosuvastatin targets and inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme crucial in cholesterol production. By doing so, it decreases the amount of cholesterol produced in the liver.
