Rosumac Gold Capsule is used to reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and peripheral vascular disease in adults with established cardiovascular conditions. It combines a cholesterol-lowering medicine with antiplatelet agents to protect the heart and blood vessels.
It contains rosuvastatin combined with antiplatelet medicines. Take it as prescribed, with or without food. Continue taking it as prescribed, even when you feel well, as stopping suddenly may increase your risk of a cardiovascular event.
Follow a low-saturated-fat, low-cholesterol diet to support the cholesterol-lowering action of this medicine. Limit alcohol intake, as it can increase the risk of bleeding and worsen cholesterol levels.
Tell your doctor before starting if you have liver or kidney problems, a bleeding disorder, or stomach ulcers, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Report any unusual bleeding, unexplained muscle pain or weakness, or severe stomach pain to your doctor immediately.
