CompositionArvast Gold 10 Capsule is used to help prevent heart attack, stroke and peripheral vascular disease in people at high cardiovascular risk, including those with high cholesterol. It is a combination medicine containing aspirin and clopidogrel (antiplatelets) and rosuvastatin (a statin).
Together they lower cholesterol and prevent blood clots. Take it after food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it for the full duration even when you feel well.
Choose a diet low in saturated fat, with less ghee, butter and fried snacks, stay physically active, avoid smoking and limit alcohol. Avoid cuts and injuries, as bleeding may take longer to stop.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have bleeding disorders, stomach ulcers or liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor or dentist that you take this medicine before any procedure. Report unusual bruising, nosebleeds, black or bloody stools, or unexplained muscle weakness immediately. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
