Rosulip-F 10 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to improve lipid profiles:

• Fenofibrate (145 mg): This component works by stimulating a protein in the body known as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPAR-α). This activation enhances the breakdown and removal of triglyceride-rich particles in the body, reduces harmful proteins that inhibit this process, and increases beneficial proteins associated with HDL. As a result, there's a decrease in LDL-C and triglycerides and an increase in HDL-C.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient functions by competitively obstructing HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme critical for cholesterol production within the body. By doing so, it facilitates an increase in LDL receptors in the liver which enhances LDL uptake and breakdown. Additionally, it hinders the hepatic synthesis of VLDL, thereby reducing total VLDL and LDL particles.

  Combined, these actions decrease total cholesterol, LDL-C, apolipoprotein B, non-HDL-C, and triglycerides while increasing HDL-C.
