This action promotes the breakdown of certain fatty substances in your blood known as triglyceride-rich lipoproteins and increases the production of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), often referred to as "good" cholesterol.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class of medicines known as statins. Rosuvastatin works by inhibiting an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your liver which is responsible for cholesterol synthesis. By blocking this enzyme, it effectively reduces levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), or "bad" cholesterol, and total cholesterol in your blood.
