Romilast L Syrup 60ml is used in children to manage allergic rhinitis and, as add-on therapy, to help control asthma symptoms linked to allergies.

• Throat and Airway Irritation: Helps ease throat irritation and coughing linked to allergic reactions.

Give your child Romilast L Syrup 60ml as follows:

1. Shake the bottle well before giving this medicine to your child.
2. Measure out the exact quantity recommended by your doctor using a spoon or cup.
3. Follow the doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration for using Romilast L Syrup 60ml.
4. This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in patients with diabetes. If your child has diabetes, consult with your doctor before giving them this medicine.

Romilast L Syrup 60ml is given to your child orally.

Romilast L Syrup 60ml contains two active ingredients:

Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This ingredient works as a selective H1-receptor antagonist. What this means is that it blocks histamine activity. Histamines are chemicals that trigger allergy symptoms. By blocking their activity, levocetirizine helps reduce these symptoms.

Montelukast (4 mg): This ingredient is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It works by inhibiting a specific receptor called CysLT1 receptor in our body. Leukotrienes are substances our body releases when we breathe in an allergen such as pollen. They cause swelling and inflammation in your lungs and tightening of the muscles around your airways which can result in asthma symptoms. By blocking these receptors, montelukast helps prevent these symptoms.

1. Keep Romilast L Syrup 60ml at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.
