Azoran 75 Tablet 10 is used in adults to help prevent transplanted organ rejection and to manage severe rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, chronic active hepatitis and certain other autoimmune conditions.

Azoran 75 Tablet contains azathioprine (75 mg). This component works in the following ways:

• Conversion to 6-Mercaptopurine: After intake, azathioprine gets converted into another compound called 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) inside your body.

• Disruption of Cell Proliferation: The 6-MP disrupts the synthesis of purines which are essential components of DNA and RNA in cells. This action interferes with cell multiplication, particularly impacting white blood cells involved in immune responses.
