Remo Zen V Tablet is used for the management of:

• Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

Here are some instructions on how to take Remo Zen V Tablet:

• The tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• It can be taken with or without food, as per your preference.

• Do not consume more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's crucial to continue the medicine as prescribed, and not stop abruptly without speaking to your doctor first.

Remo Zen V Tablet is taken orally.

Remo Zen V Tablet contains two active ingredients that work in the following ways:

• Remogliflozin Etabonate (100 mg): This works by blocking the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys. SGLT2 is a protein that helps the kidneys reabsorb most of the glucose back into the bloodstream. By inhibiting SGLT2, Remogliflozin Etabonate increases the excretion of glucose in the urine, thereby reducing blood sugar levels.

• Vildagliptin (50 mg): It works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones in the body. Incretin hormones, such as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), stimulate the pancreas to produce more insulin when blood sugar levels are high and inhibit the production of glucagon, a hormone that raises blood sugar levels. By inhibiting DPP-4, Vildagliptin extends the action of incretin hormones, leading to increased insulin secretion and decreased glucagon production, ultimately lowering blood sugar levels.

• Keep Remo Zen V Tablet stored at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect it from moisture and direct sunlight; store it in a dry place.
