Prolomet T 25 Tablet is used in adults to lower high blood pressure through a dual mechanism, reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications.

Uses of Prolomet T 25 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control raised blood pressure.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.
• Kidney Protection: Helps protect kidney function in people with hypertension.

Follow these instructions while taking Prolomet T 25 Tablet:

• Take this medicine orally with a glass of water.
• Stick to taking it at the same time each day, with or without food.
• Do not break, chew or crush the tablet, swallow it whole.
• Continue taking this medication as prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel well.
• Remember, do not discontinue this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Prolomet T 25 Tablet is taken orally.

The Prolomet T 25 Tablet contains two active ingredients that effectively work together to lower blood pressure:

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): This component works as a beta1 selective adrenoceptor blocking agent. By blocking the action of certain natural chemicals (like epinephrine and norepinephrine) on the heart and blood vessels, metoprolol succinate causes the heart to beat more slowly and with less force. This dramatically reduces the workload on your heart and lowers its oxygen demand.
• Telmisartan (40 mg): As an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a natural substance that narrows blood vessels. Through this process, it relaxes your blood vessels, reducing their internal pressure and allowing blood to flow more easily.

• Store Prolomet T 25 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep it in a tightly sealed container to protect from light and moisture.
