Sartel-Beta 25 Tablet is used for managing high blood pressure, especially in individuals who do not achieve adequate control with either metoprolol or telmisartan alone. This combination therapy not only lowers blood pressure but also reduces the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damage. It helps improve cardiovascular health by enhancing heart function and reducing strain on the heart.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not split, chew, or crush the tablet.

• Take your dose at the same time each day for best results.

• Never take more than your prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

Sartel-Beta 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Sartel-Beta 25 Tablet consists of the following two components:

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): This ingredient is a cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. In simple terms, it blocks certain natural chemicals in your body that act on your heart and blood vessels. The result? Your heartbeat slows down, your blood pressure drops, and your heart doesn't need as much oxygen.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): As an angiotensin II receptor blocker, telmisartan blocks the binding of a chemical called angiotensin II to certain receptors in your body's tissues. This leads to relaxation of blood vessels and reduced secretion of another chemical called vasopressin. It also lessens the production of aldosterone – a hormone that can raise blood pressure. The combined effect helps reduce your blood pressure levels.
