Pletoz 50 Tablet is used to manage intermittent claudication, which causes leg pain, cramping and weakness while walking because of poor blood flow. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing cilostazol.
This medicine helps increase the distance you can walk without pain and supports long-term management of peripheral vascular disease. Take it at least thirty minutes before or two hours after meals, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
A supervised walking programme and stopping smoking can improve walking distance over time. Raising your legs when resting may ease discomfort.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart failure, bleeding problems, or liver or kidney disease, and about all other medicines you take, especially blood thinners. Report persistent headache, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or unusual bleeding or bruising. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
