Pletoz-50 Tablet is used to manage intermittent claudication, a condition that causes muscle pain, cramping and weakness in the legs during walking or physical activity. It contains cilostazol, which improves blood flow to the legs and supports long-term management of peripheral vascular disease.
Cilostazol works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the tendency of platelets to stick together, improving circulation to the leg muscles. Take this tablet at least thirty minutes before or two hours after meals, as prescribed by your doctor, so it is absorbed properly.
Combining this medicine with a supervised walking or exercise programme, along with quitting smoking, can significantly improve your walking distance over time. Elevating your legs when resting may also help ease discomfort.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of heart failure, bleeding disorders, or liver or kidney problems, before starting this medicine. Seek medical advice if you experience persistent headaches, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or unusual bleeding or bruising during treatment.
