Oxyspray Nasal Spray is a nasal decongestant. It is prescribed in adults and children aged six to under twelve years, with adult guidance, to relieve nasal congestion linked with colds, sinusitis and allergies.
This medicine works by narrowing swollen blood vessels in the lining of the nose, which quickly reduces swelling and congestion, making it easier to breathe through the nose.
Use this spray as your doctor advises, usually one or two sprays into each nostril, and do not use for longer than the recommended few days, since prolonged use of nasal decongestant sprays can cause worsening congestion once stopped.
Avoid exceeding the recommended dose or frequency, and tell your child's doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, or an overactive thyroid, as decongestants need caution in these conditions. Do not share the spray bottle with others to avoid spreading infection.
